Area Rug Care
With proper daily care and maintenance, as well as dealing with spills and stains effectively, you can keep your area rugs pristine for years.

Daily Care & Maintenance
The key to daily rug care and maintenance is removing as much dirt, debris, and pet dander from the rug surface as possible, before the particles become abrasive and dull your rug's appearance. Preventative measures include using mats to scrape footwear at all entranceways, brushing pets regularly, and keeping pet nails trimmed. Vacuum your rugs with a suitable model for your rug construction daily or as frequently as possible. If your rugs can't be vacuumed, take them outside and shake loose as many particles as possible.
Dealing With
Spills & Stains
When spills do occur on your area rugs, treat them as promptly as possible to prevent permanent stains from forming. Use paper towels and a spoon to gently lift any solid material, then begin blotting the liquid stain with a dry clean cloth and warm water. Start from the perimeter of the spill and work towards the center. Use a gentle carpet-specific cleaner to spot-treat as needed.
